Eurasia—the world’s largest landmass, whose peoples have shared a long history. Its richly diverse cultures find their roots in highly evolved civilizations, which coexisted over centuries despite different religious beliefs and languages.

In absolute terms, Eurasia represents about 70% of the world’s human population and a great part of its raw materials reserves, making it economically far more powerful than any other continent. Its foreign exchange reserves exceed US$3 trillion or 80% of the world’s total.

As the three megamarkets of Russia, India, and China emerge and the European Union expands, new opportunities for creating wealth and employment arise through the contiguous continents of Europe and Asia. Foreign direct investment and exchange of knowledge between the four megamarkets will be the main locomotives that will drive future growth in the world.
